What we collect

This website collects only the information needed to run the league and this site:

Problem reports: if you send us a report through the Report a Problem form, we collect the contact details you choose to provide (such as your name and email) so we can follow up.

Staff accounts: league staff and administrators have accounts that store their name, email address, and sign-in security settings (including two-factor authentication).

Documents: files uploaded by staff (such as rules and forms) are stored so families can download them.

Activity records: the site keeps an internal log of staff actions (such as publishing a schedule or entering a score) so the league can review who changed what.

What we do not collect or show

This site does not store or display player names, birthdates, phone numbers, email addresses, or team rosters. Player privacy is a core rule of how this site is built.

Coach names are shown publicly only when a league administrator has explicitly approved them. Otherwise they are visible only to staff.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for parents and guardians, league staff, coaches, and community members. It is not designed to collect personal information directly from children under 13, and we do not knowingly do so.

If a child submits personal information through the site by mistake (for example, through the problem report form), we will delete it when we become aware of it. Parents or guardians can contact us at any time to ask for removal.

Who can see staff-only information

Access to the staff dashboard is limited to invited league staff who sign in with a password and two-factor authentication. Each staff member's role (for example Administrator, Scheduler, or Scorekeeper) limits what they can see and change. Administrative information, including problem reports and activity logs, is never shown publicly.

Services we use

The site is hosted and operated using third-party services that provide website hosting, sign-in and account security, file storage, and map links. These services process information only as needed to run the site. External map links (for example, directions to a gym) are provided by their own operators and are covered by those services' own privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses only the technical storage needed to keep staff signed in securely and to remember basic site preferences. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal information with advertisers.

Corrections and removal

Families and staff can ask us to correct or remove their information at any time. Send a request through the Report a Problem form or contact a league administrator, and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

CBYBA may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page. This policy may be updated after review by the league's legal advisors.
